Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vacei FS Review web application (the "Service"), operated by A4 Services Limited ("A4 Services", "we", "us"), a company registered in Malta. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Not an audit. The Service is a self-check diagnostic tool for the preparer of a set of financial statements. It does not constitute an audit, review, assurance engagement, accounting, tax or legal advice, and does not replace the judgement of a qualified professional. You remain solely responsible for the financial statements and any filing.

1. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and verify it before using the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to accept these Terms on behalf of any firm you represent.

2. Credits, trials and payment

New accounts include a limited number of free self-checks. Further self-checks are purchased as prepaid credits. Prices are shown at checkout in EUR and are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Credits are consumed when a review is run. Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable and do not expire while your account is active.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: uploading content you have no right to process; attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service; or using it in violation of applicable law. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the documents you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the Service. Documents are processed in memory to produce your report; see the Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and may update these Terms; material changes will be notified via the Service or by email.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, A4 Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any decision made in reliance on the output of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
